This class is really stressing me out. I have been told I am making this much harder. I am doing all my assignments but am I doing them right? There is no feedback from the teacher. I have an A in the class so obviously I am doing something right. It has been a really stressful time for me.
A lot of the times I have to just step away from it and come back later. I have often thought about quitting but what good would that do? What good is it to quit as soon as you start to struggle? So, I have decided to stick it out and hopefully I will hash things out a little better. I suppose when the class starts getting around things will "snap into place". I am determined to get through this class and many classes to come. I am determined to get into the nursing program and obtain my LPN.
It is really hard and stressful to go to college I will not lie but it will be worth it in the end. It is about time I go to college and further my career. I have two little boys to take care of and this is how I believe I will do it and something I enjoy at the same time. It is hard to work at a job that you do not enjoy. If you are unhappy I personally feel that you will not perform your job duties according to the policy and procedures or even with a negative attitude. The best workers are the ones that are happy and satisfied with their jobs. The ones that are working just to make a dollar usually are not worth a penny in their career.
I plan to be really good at my job and in order to do that I have to be fluent in my communication skills. This course is supposed to help me with that. I sure hope it does. I will have to communicate with medical personnel as well as other important people involved in the field. Either way, I am lucky to be able to have the opportunity to go to college and obtain my LPN so I will make the most of my life. Hopefully, when I get done with my LPN and will continue my education to become an RN.
Well this has went from a rant to "you can do it speech".

Blog 2. 2-5-2015
I am interested to see how this class will be. I am so glad she is easing us into everything. I am excited to become a better writer. I could use the extra experience for sure. Being in school has been wonderful. Do not get me wrong it had been stressful. I sometimes have a hard time remembering to do everything. Everything meaning all my classes. It will be something to get used to. Seeing how this is my first year ever taking a college class and I graduated high school six years ago, I am a little rusty with the whole school thing.
I always did like school. It was always fun to me. I always had plans to become a computer programmer. I even took some college credit courses in high school. I forget what they were called. Then I met a boy.... My fiance mentioned in my last blog. I should have gone to college after high school. I guess I am doing well though. Had I went to college immediately my fiance and I may not have taken the same route and my boys would not be here. I always say things happen for a reason. That is why I usually just go with the flow.
I kind of accidentally stumbled across a CNA job a few years back. I was told a local nursing home was needing help in laundry so I went to apply because I had a five month old and needed an income. I was informed there were no positions available but they were hiring CNAs. It was free training, work until I get certified, and a block from my house. Sign me up! I ended up loving it! I love taking care of people and being able to provide what services I can to the less fortunate. That is why I have decided to go further and get my LPN. This not only helps me assist other people at work but at home too. It is great knowledge to have. I am excited to see what the next few years will bring!

Blog 1. 2-4-2015
So, for my first blog I will just share a little information about myself. My name is Kayla Dronet and I am 23 years old. I will be 24 in a couple weeks! I have two boys. Braedan is three years old old and Colton is 1. They are the best! :-) I work full time as a CNA and I am currently going to school to get my LPN.
I have lived in Branson for ten years. I went to Branson High School all four years. Before Branson, I lived in New Orleans, Louisiana. That is where I grew up. I miss the seafood, music, festivals and parades. It was a big culture shock! We actually moved to Branson two weeks before Katrina hit. That was totally unintentional but I am grateful. I remember every year we rode in the Mardi Gras parade. It was an all day event. We were meeting at the float at 5 am and got home around 6 pm.
In 2009, right before I graduated, I met my fiance. I told myself at the beginning of my Senior year this was my year. Well, six years later I am still with him and both of my kids belong to him. He had another boy from a previous relationship. He is seven. I also have my sixteen year old niece staying with me. A teenage girl... She really is a good kid though.
Music... Music is my friend. :-) I listen to it all! I listen to pop, rap, country, r&b, oldies (40s+), jazz, indie, rock, classical, you name it! I always listen to the music rather than the lyrics. If I like the music then I will learn the lyrics. I am not a big movie person. I would rather watch TV shows.
I have always been fascinated by hippies. People tell me I must have been a hippie in my past life. I have always been into the message they tried to portray. I like the dedication, perseverance and free spirit they had. I always said I love everything about them except the drugs and bad hygiene. I remember having a sweet sixteen party. Can you guys the theme? HIPPIE.
Well, in a few years I should have my LPN maybe RN. Both my little boys will be in school. :-( Maybe I can have s little bit bigger house. I would like the boys to have their own room. Maybe... Just maybe I will have a little girl. We will just have to see...

I believe nature is relaxing...
Nature is a beautiful thing. The sounds the colors the peace. I'd love to live in the woods with nothing but yes and wildlife. I keep picturing Snow White and all the animals. That's not how I want to be though Haa. I enjoy going camping every summer. Swimming in the lake or creek, listening to the crickets and the sky lit up with fireflies. There's nothing more peaceful than the sounds of nature. The sounds of frogs, crickets, distant howlings. But even the everyday sounds like bits, dogs, the wind, which is howling like crazy right now. The trees are swaying back and forth. Wow thoughts ate coming to me better this way than trying to write an essay it something. Nature is where I go to "get away". Even if it's in my back porch it's full of nature. Behind my house is trees and trees as fart add I can see. There is one lonely house that sticks out. I can see a light from it every night. I don't know how to get to it though. OK back on track. Nature. It comes in all shapes, sizes, colors. What am I doing trying to sell it? Nature is my go to spot on a stressful day.

Jung Typology Reflection
I took the Jung typology test and was amazed about how spot on it was about me. It had given me helpful tips to become a better writer. It taught me a little about myself as well. I learned studying tactics based on my personality that will help me succeed in my classes.
One thing that really caught my eye was difficulty with writing an introduction and conclusion. I definitely struggle with this part. It told me to write the body of the paragraph first then the introduction and conclusion. Great tip. I will certainly use this is future writings.
This test was not helpful in just class but everyday life as well. Things like relationships, careers, personal traits and tips, etc. I was very impressed with the results of this test.
